JUST A THOUGHT ON - 'THE THING WITH SOME OR MOST MEN IS THAT....' PART 1.

 

Contextual relevance.- In doing this post, I do acknowledge that that none of it is likely to apply to all women and females. 

Due to demographical factors such as the females age range, peer groups, cultural, religious and social circumstances, ethnicity, nationality, relationship statuses and political and economic circumstances.

So, even if I were to speak as a man of 'the thing about some or most men', cursed be it that I should find myself challenged to begin with something admirable. 

As, for reasons I am not clear about or the source of my feelings, I am inclined to exclaim, 'men are bastards!', or 'most men are bastards!. 

And then do I find myself cogitating on this, that, how can men, born of women, women whom I do tend to idealise as being of a better disposition than men, be 'bastards' who are causing most of the harm and destruction on Planet Earth? 

How is it that one species, males, being so obnoxious and almost given to generating extreme toxicity, be born of another, women? 

Women who are considered, who have been evidenced to be so endowed with humility and compassion and love of humanity? 

Is it more about genetics and biology? Or is it more about cultural and social assimilation? Or is it more of a function of both set of factors?

But let me begin with something positive about the male of the species. What about this: 'the thing about most men', is that they have a reputation and/or expectation for 'providing for their families.' 

Now , this is commendable, even if some men prove themselves not to be able to be good providers.  While others expect their women and other members of their families to make big or small contributions towards the means by which providing for the family is made. 

This could mean the woman, and sometimes age-appropriate children are actively engaged in 'bread-winning' work.
