JUST A THOUGHT ON - 'THE THING WITH SOME OR MOST MEN IS THAT....' PART 4.

  

 

Or 'I will not allow you to live without me', in reference to the other partner. 

Thus one of the embittered partner begins to plot how he/she, but more often, he, is going to destroy the other partner, and, sometimes, their children. 

The latter being a sickness and callousness which we do not find in, say, the relationship between lions. 

Because, although a lion destroys the cubs of the mother's previous suitor, pursuance of getting the lioness to have its own cubs, it probably will only rarely kills its own cubs. 

In this regard, whereas the lion kills to induce the lioness to have its own offspring.

The hurt and enraged man will sometimes kills his own child/ren to as an act of 'punishing' their mother for leaving him.

And then, there is 'the war thing about some or most men.' Why are men so apparently prone to cause conflict? 

Us men, it appears, are inherently and genetically pre-set to cause and initiate violent conflict. It is in our genes, in our apparent predisposition towards fighting. 

We, the male of the species, seem to be predatorial in our psychological and social programming. 

I am not quite sure why this is so. It might be that we are acquisitive and want to possess others, both people and things. 

So we prey on 'our' women, and endeavour to make them 'ours', and we prey on other people's possessions, their lands, for a start, and fight them for it.

And even after we, apparently at a superficial level, toy with the spirit of enlightenment and conceptualise and actually build a more advance world.  Us men are still remain driven by our predatory baser instincts, and engage in improving our tools of war.
