IT WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS - AN ACCOUNT OF LIVES IMPACTED BY 'EVERYDAY ADVERSITIES.' PART 91.

 

Or, was Kazaliwa the more relieved and excited one? The one who was most elated at having his own place, at last, and of being free, relatively, of the oversight, the 'nagging', the tentativeness of his parents? 

Parents who might, indeed, certainly had his best interests, and, yes, their own, inasmuch at both overlapped, in mind. 

But who had been living under the yoke of high anxiety for too long, to not be able to still feel it, even after it has been partially removed from their proverbial shoulders. 

Parents who have carried their private burden around for too long, for them to not be feeling it on their shoulders, even when it is no longer physically there. 

And so it was 'D-Day' when Kazaliwa walked out of his parents' home. Of course, they were to visit him often and provided him with necessary support. 

Similarly, he would continue to visit them and maintain their relationship.

Kazaliwa had, of course, developed his cooking skills while he was incarcerated, and would now be able to continue where he had left off. 

As he was now in an area with a range of shops, as well as close proximity to the centre of the town and near to the bus station. 

As well as having easy access to the railway station and his Probation Office. All of which made this first move a very convenient one for him. 

Kazaliwa would also have the opportunity to readily access the central and local government offices which he had previously been averse to have any dealings with. 

But the assistance of which would now prove crucial, if he was being serious about embarking on viable  supported and/or independent living.
