MY TAKE ON IT - THE BRUTAL ATTACK ON SALMAN RUSHDIE: SUCH BARBERISM SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING! PART 1.

 

'The weaponised depleted human who made the murderous attack on Salmon Rushdie is not as responsible for the crime as much as the culpable religious Clerical Dons within Islam. 

The Imams and Ayatollahs who either inflame Muslims by preaching hate or remain silent while the masses become restless, are the true 'Infidels and evil-doers.' Both are displaying a terrible failure of leadership and betrayal of their faith.'

So barbarism, whether it be one person physically attacking an innocent person, or  one nation invading and attacking another without any great threat being posed to is, is not something which should be occurring in the 21st Century. 

The mindless, because that is what it is, murderous attack on Salman Rushdie in New York, should not have happened. 

Salman Rushdie should not have made the subject of a religious Fatwa by Iran's then religious leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, in 1989. 

Muslims should not have and be making such inflammatory verbal attacks on Salman Rushdie and persecuting him over the past 32 years, for him having the courage to pen his novel, The Satanic Verse. 

The religious purists and the the power hierarchy within Islam, should not be at fearful as they are of God as they are indicating that they are. 

They should have learnt the more positive lessen which is to be learnt from the relative demise of Christianity. 

Which is that, once you stop relating to 'God' and your 'born into religion', as a child who is forbidden to ask questions and just to do as they are told. The religion begins to lose its semblance of 'divinity'. 

Of 'sanctity.' Once we begin to relate to and analyse our 'born-into religious faiths' they becomes more human, more fallible and open to the vices and virtues which come with our human species.
