JUST PHILOSOPHISING ON - IF WOMEN RULED THE WORLD, WOULD IT BE SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER OR WORSE? FINISHED!

 

Similarly, it would not mean that, if or because 'the ruler' happens to be a woman, then, ipso facto, 'women would be ruling the world.'

It is the case, I would contend, that 'men do rule the world, but this is because men holds the dominant power balance in probably all the key sectors of contemporary societies. 

Whether it be in the more technologically and intellectually advanced Western or Northern hemispheres. 

Or in the lesser culturally and socially advanced areas in other hemispheres of the globe. Men are still on top of the social, political and economic spectrums.

Not so for women and females in general. They have been and continue to be 'the under-dogs.' 

The human species who are more oppressed and restricted by men - both subtly and forcibly - and the system of social, cultural, religious and political traditions and conventions which 'legitimises' women's and female's inferior role.

A vital aspect of the systematic oppression of any people, is that of how the system seems to make the oppressed people, through many generations, consciously and unconsciously, de facto 'legitimisers' of their own oppression and domination. 

Whether it is about religious, economic, political or social oppression, its level of success is likely to be determined by the extent or degree that the dominated people internalise their oppression and thereby legitimises it.

For women to rule the world and make it a better world, these rulers would first have to be able to effect the fundamental and lasting changes.  

Which are required to make their social, economic, religious and political infrastructures and modus operandi equitably serve both their males and females citizens. 

They, females, have to empower women and girls to be accorded nearly or the same freedoms and social, political and economic statuses and empowerment as men and boys. 

This is not an impossible objective, although it would take many generations and probably several centuries of programmed socialization and cultural transformation.

Of course, although it is not only possible, but probably, whether it will be achieved is quite another matter. Considering that it is not something which is likely without the consistent implementation of an appropriate plan.
