In much the same way as children, through the medium of play and playing, learn about society and how it functions, as well as, how it could function better. But this is not a process which can take place if society were to become more prescriptive and prohibitive about human sexual conduct. To become less open, or return to the age of 'sexual puritanism.' It is right and commendable that extreme and injurious sexism, misogynism, and oppressive practices against women should be condemned and fought against. But it is unlikely to be in anybody's interest that a puritanical crusade should be waged against the male of the species. Or that the struggle for gender equality should take a form which could lead to more humans becoming asexual or sexually averse. Especially considering that, with increased recognition of the rights of lesbian and homosexual people to have partners of their own choice, this could result in a reduction in the population of the hu
