ITALIAN GRAND PRIX - RARE WIN FOR RICCIARDO AND MCLAREN, AS HAMILTON AND VERSTAPPEN CAME TO GRIEF!! PART .1.

' It is likely to be the case that every misfortune, every tragedy or adverse event, though presenting challenges for those on whom they fall, also opens the doors to opportunities for others to benefit from them.'   At the extreme of examples, we see births opening opportunities for midwives.  Sickness opening opportunities for medical practitioners and those involved in the manufacturing of medicines and medical equipment.   And, at the other end of the life cycle, we see death providing opportunities for those in the funeral industries.  The bad that some people do, also create opportunities for others to redress. In the realm of professional sports, namely Formula 1 Grand Prix, we have the example of crashes involving the leading contenders.   Creating opportunities for other competitive racers to gladly take hold of the unexpected good fortune that fate has thrown to them.  And convert it into winning the race, and/or promoting themselves to positions they would not have

It is not that Kazaliwa was not aware of this conundrum.   Of this unpredictable dimension, but rather that, in his normal state of high self-confidence.   In his belief in seeing things through the prism of being more positive than the proverbial average person.  Of trying to embody and energise himself with the spirit of success as he go about endeavouring to acquire and deploy the means to that success.  He seems to have a tendency to underestimate the duration and likely challenges of the journey between departure and arrival. This aspect of Kazaliwa's personality can prove very challenging for people with whom he interacts and those he has a relationships with.  It can cause him to become impatient and for those at the end of that actual or apparent impatience, give the impression of Kazaliwa being arrogant and lacking in humility and empathy.  To what extent this is or is not the case might be open to debate.  But it did seem to have some bearing in Kazaliwa having a disagr

JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE CASE FOR HAVING CHILDREN! PART. FINIS...

This is probably the very reason why ancient and more traditional and collectivistic societies became more preoccupied, not with whether or not a male loves a female.   But rather with the imperative of the survival and growth of the family, the clan, the tribe, by finding partners for their young men and women.  These are objectives which are achieved through the biological interaction between male and female, and not predicated upon whether they 'love each other.' With a bit of contemplation, it is not difficult to understand and appreciate how this basic protective system of protecting 'the family,  has, in time, expanded into 'the village', 'the clan', 'the tribe', the 'nation' and 'the country' which we now have.  Of course, what it has also done, is to promote the survival of our human species. Having children and more children has increased the hands and feet to be harnessed to the plough and its precursors.  It has provided

JUST CONTEMPLATION ON - HOW THERE IS NO 'JUDGEMENT DAY', BUT DAYS OF JUDGEMENT! PART 2.

This, to any logical person, makes good sense and is something to be welcomed.  But not so, it would seem, when it comes to 'fear or fearful' religious ideas.  Such as 'The Day of Judgement', which is a serious tenet in Christianity and Islam.  The belief that, on a given or specified day at some future date, the God of the Christians and Muslims, will have the biggest mass trial the world will have ever known.  When he will raise all the ghosts or spirits of all the people who will have died by then, and Judge them.   And  sentence or condemn and reward them 'according to their works.  It is not even clear that we can call such a process 'a trial', as it seems that the  'J-Day' will be restricted  to task of rewarding the 'faithful' by sending them to  the place called 'Heaven', which, I understand is meant to be somewhere up in the skies.  And sending the apparently unrepentant sinners to a place called 'Hell', I gathered

There is a 'natural fit' between a woman and a man, as is seemingly the case with the 'male' and 'female' of probably all species. A natural attraction, which might not be for both of them simply or primarily a sexual chemistry.  Or operates at the same level of sexual chemistry. A man, it seems to me, at least in the earlier stages of our evolution, might have been more motivated and attracted to the woman through sexual desire and lust.  Whereas the woman was probably more interested in the implied or expressed protection and security which the man, at least then, was seen as representing.  Even though there would have been, even then, the irony that the danger and threat which the woman would have wanted to be protected from, would have been mostly from men. And it is, I would argue, man's 'need' or innate urge for sexual gratification, and the woman' probably culturally ingrained or instituted 'need' for protection.  That might have

Such is the anomaly and paradox of religion, that, not only do different faiths set about killing each other and destroying their property.   But different versions of the same faith or religion will attack each other in order to try to enforce conformity with what they see as the 'orthodox' or 'true version' or their religion.  And what does God supposedly think of this irrational and unGodly behaviour?  Only God knows, because, despite those who say they speak for God, nobody knows the truth, because God does not, and has never been known to converse with humans.  Though humans, in their moment of contemplation, and their imaginings, do make fallacious claims that God has spoken to them. But, of course, God does not know what to make of humans insistence on forcing, to compelling and to socialising people into practising this or that faith.   As, irrespective of what those who say they are 'believers' believe and try to force others into believing, the exist

A sense of independence and of wanting to do things for yourself and to your standard or expectation, even when you are no longer capable of carrying out such tasks as you were once able to do.  And so it soon becomes a matter of having 'to let go.' Of having no only to experience the pain, even if  sometimes joyful pain.   Of 'letting go of our children', as they become more independent, as they acquire the skills, the knowledge, the age and understanding and maturity to enable them to leave home and branch out on their own 'journey of life.'  But now, as one approaches the end of the road, as it could be termed, a person moving towards the void, must also increasingly 'let go' of the things they have and had control over.  Of their independence, of their way of doing things, of their established ways of thinking, of their daily routines.  These, then, are some of the major challenges that my dear mother is confronted with.  As are others at or approa
