THE LIBERATION OF ALEPPO AND THE DELINQUENT REACTION OF WESTERN POLITICIANS AND THEIR MEDIA. PART 1

And so it was, that following the inevitable recapture of eastern Aleppo, by the Government of Syria and its coalition of allies, there was great lamentations and wringing of hands, by all the politicians, diplomats and media, in many West European and American capitals.


The American UN Ambassador, Ms Samantha Power, as she had been wont to do of late, resorted to personally abusing the Russian, Syrian and Iranian governments, appealing to what she described as their 'shamelessness.' With the capacity to logically argue her case, having escaped her, for some months now, Ms Power found herself powerless, and regressed to churlish behaviour. 

In her attempt to 'defend' what she might see as her country's legitimate interests in the Syria proxy war. Yes, I said her country's interests, because that is what it is really all about. Although you would not think so, with every other word being uttered by western politicians, about the Syrian crisis, being a pejorative one about the Russians and the Syrian government.

Ms Power's lack of professionalism, diplomacy and negotiation skills, is, indeed, something which have become glaringly obvious, not only within the sphere of western diplomacy, but also amongst its politicians and political leaders. 

We are, is seem, being confronted with an outbreak of diplomatic and political adolescence, if not delinquency, within western governments and their diplomats.

So, why all this emotionalism,this hatefulness and malevolence being tirelessly thrown on the Russian and Syrian governments and their allies by western leaders?

You could be forgiven for thinking that the Syrian, Russian, and  Iranian governments have recently metamorphosed into becoming the 'devil incarnate.' That they have become possessed by demons, overnight, as it were, and all because of a relentless, carefully planned and executed, and very effective propaganda war by America, Britain, France and their Nato partners in this devious conspiracy. 

Something has happened that has caused Prime Minister May of Britain, President Obama, President Hollande of France, and other key western politicians to feel an acute sense of vulnerability and powerlessness. Something which has led to them feeling like they are no longer in charge of directing the Syrian proxy war, which they have been aiding abetting since probably before it began in 2011.

Is the Syrian proxy war now turning the corner and heading for peaceful waters?
