WILL PRESIDENT TRUMP'S LEGACY MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE? PART 3.

Then their are those amongst us do not really support Trump and his reactionary policies, but who feel that, in order to stay afloat and navigate the torrid waves which his policies are and will be creating, it is best for them to take the 'pragmatic' and 'expedient' approach of appearing to support The Don and his Trumpist doctrine. 

Finally, there are those amongst us who greatly despise and oppose The Don and all that he stands for.

People who disagree with his doctrine to achieve 'security' and 'safety' by the ethnic and religious profiling and targeting of whole communities, and even countries. Who abhor the concept and practice of him wanting to create more jobs for Americans, with little or no regard for workers in other countries. With his aim of making America First and 'great again', at the cost of other peoples and countries.

Muslims who have been denied their rights as American citizens are better able to empathise and identify with black and other ethnic minority Americans. White Americans, including those whose partners from predominantly Muslim countries can now feel and more acutely share the pains of their partners, arising from the impact of The Don's racist policies towards people like them.

All of this makes for a broader and stronger alliance of peoples of different ethnic origins, religious faiths , nationalities and political affiliations. A stronger alliance of progressive forces is then given birth to.

And so, it seems to me, that one of the biggest legacy of Donald Trump, T.U's 4 year reign, will be to leave the world in a more fertile state for political solidarity for the forces of the political progressives. 

Just as how the ascendancy of President Obama, in 2008, was a clarion call for these same forces. Forces embodied by people who had hoped that President Obama would have made the world 'love America and Americans again.' That he would have led his country to put away its halo of 'holier and better than thou' position within the world. 

To move away from assuming the role of being the 'the world's hated policeman.' So might the likely carnage of The Don's 4 year rampage as his country's President, create a vacuum which will desperately need to be mended, reclaimed by the forces of the political progressives.

Indeed, President Trump, T.U.'s 4 year reign could be perceived as, for those who are believers, god punishing Americans and the world. In much the same way as he/she was reputed to have sent pestilence, famine and floods to punish the ancients, including the Egyptians.
