JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE SIMPLICITY OR COMPLEXITY OF, ENDEAVOURING TO 'KNOW OURSELVES'! PART 2.

And then, there is the 'spiritual, intellectual and psychological' aspects of us humans. 

 Those aspects which endeavour to find 'a bigger purpose' for us, than that of being the 'by-product' of the 'Big Bang' theory which is believed to have resulted in the evolution of life.
If only we would stop, effectively, shitting and pissing on the very bed which we must lie on. 

In the very water which we rely on to quench our thirst, cook our foods, water our plants and feed our livestocks.



So, I might be forgiven for feeling a bit pique, a bit of 'I cannot be bothered to hear this again.' When one of my younger relatives, probably spurred on by finding the latest bit of 'wisdom' on the internet. 

Said to me. 'I will help you to know yourself.' 

Really? I thought. So what have I been doing for all these years? 

What about all those books I also have read, and those films, videos and TV programmes I have watched?  

 Which purported to enlightened the viewers on the mysteries of life, of the universe and universes, etc, etc? Do they not count? 


And what about the almost infinite things I have observed and felt about myself, those around me, and of the organic and inorganic, physical and non-physical representation of sources of energy within my observable universe, and intellectual powers?

Could this be a case of the younger generation having 'found out about sex', and wanting to share this wonder with the older generation? 

Ignoring the realisation that, by virtue of the fact that their is, indeed, a younger generation, it follows that the older generation must have 'discovered' sex as well.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
