And is likely to continue to experience, if the status quo is not changed. 

But also to provide an analysis outlining or postulating why the existing structure and dynamics are causing the current dysfunction, and to propose an argument for changing the situation.

And, yes, it is clear that the same challenge and difficulties are being experienced by probably most journalists. 

For a number of reasons, including some of them not having the desire and/or intellectual attributes, time or space to provide their audience or readers with a balanced report. 


As well as them not being allowed to do so by their editors, the owners of their media, and/or the state or other vested interests in the societies in which they function.

It can also be the case that journalists and their media organisations do not have the motivation to be 'balanced' about the subject they are apparently scrutinising.  

Especially if the objective of their scrutiny, is to find 'personal and/or political dirty', with which to tarnish the subject person, country or issue. 

All of which suggest that the audience of disseminated information, should listen and watch, in the awareness and mindfulness of the relevance of context. 






Such as, who is saying or showing what, the status of the medium, how is it being said or shown, why and when is it being disseminated? 

Which leads me onto the purpose of this post, which is to raise the issue of the current Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel.  

And of why she does not seem to be getting the acknowledgement and accolade that I believe she deserves. 

I mean, arguably, Angela Merkel probably the Greatest or one of the greatest Chancellors, leaders of post War Germany. 

She has been Chancellor since 2005, and has, with the crucial support of her CDU and CSU colleagues and parties.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
