JUST A THOUGHT - ON IRAN'S RIGHT TO ACT TO SECURE ITS CITIZENS' WELFARE.PART 1.

'The true strength, virtue, and integrity of any sovereign country or state, is that it should be at least able secure and safeguard the basic welfare of it people. 

 Such as freedom from hunger, cold, homelessness, the ravages of sickness and diseases, insecurity and large-scale conflicts, and destitution. 

 Where a country cannot guarantee its citizens such freedoms, its strength, virtue and integrity will lie in its endeavour to successful challenge any nation or organisations.
  
Which seek to inflict measures on it which are intended to prevent it and its people exercising such freedoms.'
Such is the dilemma confronting the government and people of Iran.  

That they are being subjected, by the United States of America and its allies, and countries which it is threatening with punitive measures, if they refuse to join it, to crippling economic and trade measure. 

 Which are intended to bring about the capitulation of Iran's government. 

 The dilemma for the government, is that,in its attempt to ensure that it and the people can have the basic freedoms. 

 Which are the legitimate responsibility and obligation of a sovereign state.  

Is that it is being forced to take actions which can, at least in the short and medium-term, have the effect of delaying the realisation of one or more of these essential freedoms.

 By effecting a brutal and unjust economic blockade against the Iranian people. President Trump and his Saudi and UAE allies intend to starve them and inflict extreme and crippling economic and industrial hardship on the Iranian people. 

 They are giving the Iranian government and people a stark ultimatum, which is that they should capitulate to the Americans or starve and have their nation become bankrupt. Or.....

 The Americans are making preparations to lay siege to Iran and the Iranians.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter? If life were a bitch and then we die, might we not surmise that it be our duty to screw life before we die, that we might gain some small pleasure, some small satisfaction from our life the life we live, before we die?
