JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE MORAL AND SPIRITUAL PARADOX OF SAUDI ARABIA'S STEWARDSHIP OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD;S LEGACY! THE END....

It is the essence of the repression which the Saudi Monarchy is using to exterminate the voices and bodies of Saudis who are advocating for more personal, social and political freedom. 

The repression of the courageous forces of enlightenment. As opposed to those of the greater repression, as represented by Al Queda. 

Which, for some reason, seemed to have founded, at least in the past, and probably, privately, now, more favour with the Saudi government.

But the fact is that Saudi Arabia is still a very rich, powerful, and influential country, especially in the Islamic world.  And Islam's most venerated founder, the Prophet Muhammad, was born there. 



It is a fact of life that, since the shrine of the Kaaba is located in Saudi Arabia, it is the property of the Saudi government, which will, naturally, operate it as its sees fit.

With visiting it by making the Hajj having been made a requirement of the faithful, probably not many Muslims would make a moral stand. 

By not visiting it, in order to demonstrate their opposition to the repressive and despotic way in which Saudi society is being governed. 

The faithful, it seems, might be more fearful of what they have been indoctrinated into believing Allah would do to them. 



If they do not make the Hajj, than about the denial of more freedom and liberty to Saudis, by their Saudi government.

It has, effectively, nationalise the institution and industry which the Kaaba and Hajj now is. 

Both the Kaaba and Hajj can be seen as evidence of 'idolatry' within Islam, something which, paradoxically, is not encouraged by Islam. 

But then, neither is the brutal and murderous repression which the Saudi anachronistic government is visiting upon Saudi citizens and their neighbours.


Saudi Arabia does not have the moral, or even the religious authority to be the custodian of Islam and its revered shrines

But that, for now, at least, does not matter. Because it has the wealth to buy the protection of powerful friends, such as the Americans, British and French.  

And it has the efficient and effective weapon of extremist version of Islamism, which it has deceptively used to suppress and oppress its own people. 

All of which has resulted in the people of Saudi Arabia being subjected to the actual rule of a despotic government which is not accountable to them.  And to the supposed reign of an invisible God who is also not accountable to them.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
