JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON HOW BREXIT SUPPORTS 'DEMOCRATIC' RACIST AND XENOPHOBIC NATIONAL SOCIALISM. PART 5.

How ironic, how incredible, that one of Europe's, probably the modern world's first and foremost 'democracy.' 

 Should become so preoccupied with 'navel gazing', with addressing a relatively 'minor' and self-imposed 'internal problem/need.' 

 And to choosing to do so, irrespective of national, international and global cost to itself and other nations? 

 That it should seemingly want to achieve and objective which is opposed by 50 per cent or nearly 50 per cent of its people, even if the cost should transpire to be a catastrophic one?


Probably even worse, that the British government's obsessive and seemingly imprudent commitment to achieving this quest, should be being framed and powered within the context of 'democracy.' 

 As if, 'democracy', like 'market forces', are sentient concepts which adhere to some immutable and divine laws which, humans cannot or should not interfere with. 

 Even when there are clear indications that their outcomes, in given cases, are going to or are likely to seriously worsen the circumstances of those on whom they will impact.


In the case of Brexit, not only will it be adverse economic consequences, but, more critically.  

 Adverse political and social ones, which will add to the increased national discord, instability and stresses which are enemies of economic renewal. 

 So, Britain seeking to have greater or sole control over its borders, over who can enter and become citizens of the country, and its sovereignty. 

 Yes, for Prime Minister May, on the basis of how stringently and persistently she mentions these things.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
