MEXICAN GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES MADE IT AN UNLIKELY WIN!

I imagine that we could, accurately, attribute some of Hamilton's undeserved comments about what he saw as Verstappen's wayward driving during the starting session. 

As symptomatic of Hamilton's failure to suppress his anxiety about the validity of Team Mercede's strategy in changing his tyres quite early in the race. 

And, later, him finding it difficult to contain his exciting and pleasure at winning a race him and his Team. 

Whenever I hear or see the Great Lewis Hamilton dissed younger drivers for their intrepidity and sometimes reckless driving, I am reminded of the younger Hamilton racing for Team McLaren, and coming to grief. 


To the consternation of racers such as Massa and Fernando. Yes, Verstappen might be pleased that he is 'in the head' of the likes of Hamilton, Vettel and Leclerc.  

But it is also the case that, within the head of the young and relentless Verstappen, there resides a this raw and rather frustrated Hamilton fighting to get out and dominate F.1.

All things considered, the 2019 Mexican Grand Prix has developed into a spectacle involving Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas putting in masterful and unblemished performances at all critical stages of the race.

This has resulted in them, rather surprisingly, winning it by coming in at P.1 and P.3. 


Conversely, Teams Ferrari and Red Bull and their respective racers had not been able to match or better Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas at all of these stages, and that has been their down fall. 

This has been a further testament to the adage that, Grand Prix is never won or loss until the winning car greets the Checkered Flag. 

It is one that Hamilton should be guided by more than he has been doing, by apparently unwisely voicing him anxieties during racing. This is a weakness he needs to address and improved upon.

Big Congratulations to Team Mercedes and Hamilton and Bottas, and to Team Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel, for placing their cars on the Podium.

And now, we look forward to all stages of the United States Grand Prix, with the hope that, since all things being equal, Hamilton will be crowned 6 times World Champion. 

The main focus of the race will be to provide the spectators will a thrilling and enjoyable Grand Prix.

So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
