In this respect, yes, it is true that corrupt forces would have been at work in oiling Donald Trump's ascension to power. 

Just as they were in the assumption of power by other dictators, including Hitler, Mussolini and others, in the past. 

It is part the case that, it is just that the light of 'transparency and accountability' was not as bright in the past as it is today. 

 Although it is also the case that the forces of corruption have also become more skilled at obstructing and nullifying the rays of that light by covering their tracks.


So, while the apparent advent of 'Trumpians', whether it be in the classic form of Donald Trump, or Jair Bolsonaro, or the more autocratic and sometimes ruthless Duterte, or the other much less noticeable 'wannabe or aspiring Trumpian' leaders of smaller countries. 

 The lessons history has thought us is that the 'rule of the Trumpian' leaders is likely to be short-lived. 

 With the advent of the dynastic rulers having ended and the conditions for any resurgence of such rule not being extant in the United States, Brazil, the Philippines, or any of the aspiring or wannabe countries.

So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
