RELIGION DILEMMAS AND PARADOXES - THE RELEVANCE AND VALUE OF 'GOD' IN OUR LIVES TODAY! PART 5.

 

If we hold onto a thing or idea beyond its time, then we will prevent the birth of something more useful, more relevant. 

This is a dilemma for the world's religions, as their doctrines become increasingly irrelevant and they refuse to make way for the evolution of human thought.'

And then, as our species continue to evolve, and our intellect increases it development and we begin to reflect and project our thoughts over the universe. 

Our ancestors and us begin to try to make more sense of our world, our universe. An awaking which led to us embarking upon the comprehensive study of our world and giving birth to what would become the sciences. 

The basic ingredients of what would enable us to study not only what we could see, feel, touch and eat.  

But also the materials that made them, and draw conclusions about other things which we could not see, but causes us thing, based on what we could see and know. 

We, us humans, have arrived at what could be called, allegorically speaking, our true 'admanic age.'  In that we begin to think more, and increasingly realised that 'we are', as a consequence of our developing intellect.

Yes, although us humans are not much more than the currently most intellectually advanced result of cosmological matter.  

Which has chemical and biological interacting over billions of years, producing simple and then complex life forms.  

The theory and practice of religion and theism had the advantage of age over the infant and clandestine, insurgent even, scientific establishment.
