JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE GENERATIONAL STRUGGLE AGAINST RACISM. PART 1.

Many of us will be aware of the old adage that, 'there is nothing new under the Sun.'  A saying which is often used to attempt to disabuse a person or persons who are of the opinion that that they have come up with something new. 

Something which nobody else has ever thought about or put into action. 

Well, even though there are clearly some things, some inventions which had most probably not occurred or worked in the distant past, such as the invention and development of the computer micro-chip. 

We still cannot be certain that others before the generation that invented and developed and put to word the micro-chip which I am currently making use of in doing this post. 




Thought precedes the formulation or composition of a coherent idea, and that idea precedes a decision to test out the idea, by putting it into action. Providing the resources to do do, are extant.

And  it is with this thought in mind that I often watch and reflect on how the current 'awoke' younger generations are going about challenging racism. 

Not challenging it all over the world, per se, because it seems to be the case that the main focus of this 'new' or resurgent campaign against racism. 

Is on the North and South American and European continents. 

Just like the struggle against sexism, misogyny and nationalism.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better. But, at least the Palestinians were alive, they had their homes, their roads, water, electricity, the basic requirements for having at least a basic life.  They had more freedom of movement in their 'reservations' than they have now, with the storm troopers crawling over and around them as so many wasps.  So, yes, it is likely that, for the majority of Palestinians who are being forced to pay the price the Zionist Israeli State has decided to extract from them, the attack of 7th October might be considered to have been a tactical mistake by Hamas and the other Resistance Fighters.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter? If life were a bitch and then we die, might we not surmise that it be our duty to screw life before we die, that we might gain some small pleasure, some small satisfaction from our life the life we live, before we die? But of course, some of us might as some point, consider that it is life which screws the living and not the living who does the screwing.
