And so it is doing, as the family now busily set about making the required contacts and set about making the arrangements for my/our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother's funeral. 

The practical aspects of dealing with the death/passing of my dear mother are now well on their way to being completed. 

The place which has been her home for the past 7 years or so, is now quite different, as her belongings are removed and given to members of her family and others. 

And now, her once inviting, comfy and friendly home is now as empty as it once was, when she first moved and set about making it into 'her home.' 

As it was when she moved into, it is now waiting to be claimed and made the home of the person who will become its second tenant.

But all is not, or ever was as it might seem or appear, because, while all of the rushing about, this attempt to absorb myself into this physicality stage of the bereavement and grief processing of my dear mother. 

I am still mindful of her and of her loss. I still think of her, look into her bedroom when I have visited the apartment which used to be hers, but is now no more hers.  

And try to visualise her lying or siting their on her bed, which is also now no longer there. 

I have not cried for the death and loss of my dear mother. I have not cried because I have not felt the need to do so. Is this 'normal' or 'abnormal' behaviour and emotion, someone might enquire? 

Well, clearly, it is different from how some members of my dear mother's nuclear and extended families, and some of her friends have so far reacted.

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better. So, if life were a bitch and then we die, need we say or do or think anymore of the matter?
