But, for some strange reasons, the religious establishment.  The 'God and faith industry', is able to make grand and astonishing claims about their faith and the 'God'.  But without having, without being able to provide any evidence or proof, that what they are asserting, is true and real.  Their credibility, unlike that of other industries and other professions and field, is taken for granted, despite its inherent incredulity. How can this be so? Why is it so, that the world seems to turn a blind eye to the fallacy and deception of the theistic religious industry or establishment? Why should people of faith, in asserting their beliefs, expect, even demand that people who are being guided by reason and scientific evidence.  Should expect less evidence, less proof of them.   There would or should be less chances of cues being missed, gestures not being noticed and what is being said and how it was said, not being completely or accurately understood. Having a system of two workers visiting is a good, if not excellent way of protection the child, the family and the workers.  Why? Well, it is because, if the social workers and social work staff perform their duties robustly, as well as ethically.  If they are, by virtue of two workers visiting and supporting each other, empowered to appropriately confront and challenge what is being said by members of the child's family.   Then, they can make better assessments and conclusions about what is taking place in the family.   Enabling a better evaluation of  what is it about the  dynamics and functioning of the child and the family. That reduces and/or increases the assessed risk to the child/ren.  This kind of 'co-worker visiting' arrangement will also enable the social work staff to maintain better

  And so it seems to me, to be very ironic, problematic that 'people of faith', as it were, should be able to speak of 'their faiths' as if they were a given.  As if they the are true accounts of things which did happen in human encounters with 'God' or 'the Gods and Goddesses' of this and that religious beliefs and rituals. I mean, where else or in what fields other than that of religion.  Can anybody make the blatant claims which are made by Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, et al.   Without a shred of credible evidence or proof of the veracity of what is written and/or is being repeated by the relevant believer? Politicians would not be able to get away with not being transparent and accountable for what they are promising.  Medical professionals would not be able to make incredible comments and assertions about the care and treatment they are providing.   Without being made accountable for its impact or lack of impact.  To be continued!

  Without the intervention of this fateful factor, it seemed that Hamilton was on his way a P.2 finish.  As it seemed probable that, Verstappen, with his newer tyres, should have been able to overtook him at some point during the final 6-8 laps of the race.  It seemed a balancing of fate, as Verstappen's closeness to Hamilton had partly bee the result of a mistake made by Hamilton before he was overtaken by Verstappen.  Swings and roundabouts it might have been, but it was one that decisively benefited Hamilton, and proved the chagrin of Max and his fans and team.  Something which Max, more than many others, including Hamilton, is increasingly better at assuaging and moving on.   Of course, if I am honest, I would also let it be known that I am amazed by how my dear mother can.   Even at this late stage of her life, appears to be still riding the 'ebbs and flows', by appearing to be declining, only to bounce back again.  Even though the trend, logically, is a downward one.  It would appear that, sometimes when my dear mother seems to be declining substantially, these are more the manifestation of her being ill and not feeling well.  Rather than anything she is, with appropriate care, not going to be able to recover from. Even as she steadily decline in her mental, intellectual and physical functioning.  It seems that my dear mother is able to move down the rungs of each ladder, struggle and adjust to the challenges associated with each of them, and find an accommodate to the life she has to live at the level of that rung.  Just as how her carers and her family, those who are involved with her, have to find ways and means of managing the  additional ch
